There is a used CD store in the building at the Berwyn el stop. There is an ad for iPods in that similar reverse silhouette style that they have been using for last couple of years in the window of the store. This time though, the silhouette was that of the prisoner in the hood that was part of the abuse scandal a couple of years ago involving Pfc. Lynndie England and her co-horts listening to an iPod. (I am embarrassed that I know the name of the chipmunk-faced woman involved yet cannot tell you the name of the prison or country - says a lot about the celebrity factor in scandals)

So the marketers of iPod and Apple think that this is an acceptable image. An man being tortured while naked and photographed in prison listening to an iPod. What song was playing do you think? Probably not Enya.
